There is a New Supply, Electricity Crisis in North Sumatra Start Ends

Jakarta - The suffering of the people of North Sumatra ( North Sumatra ) and surrounding areas , about the rolling blackouts that occurred over the years will come to an end . Currently electricity from steam power plant ( Combined Cycle Power Plant ) Gas Turbine ( GT ) 2.2 have started to supply electricity to North Sumatra and surrounding areas gradually

" GT 2.2 Belawan has entered at 22:15 pm by 15 megawatts ( MW ) , " said General Manager of PT PLN North Sumatra Dyananto to detikFinance , Wednesday ( 19/03/2014 ) .

He revealed , with the inclusion of a Combined Cycle Power Plant GT 2.2 electric this , will gradually make the electricity supply in North Sumatra and surrounding normal can ( base load ) .

" Load step by step would be to base load , it is still 15 MW , so far very subtle vibrations that means there is no constraint to hold up to the load base load of 132 MW - 140 MW , " he said .

With the inclusion of additional electricity from the 2.2 GT PLTGU Belawan , North Sumatra expectations of the people in the free electricity blackouts began to materialize .

" At 0:17 pm the load can already increased by 140 MW ( from PLTGU GT 2.2 ) , please pray our electricity system more reliable ( free blackouts ) , " he concluded .
