PT. Kawasan Industri Medan (Persero) as one of the State-Owned Enterprises carry out Training / Training of Interpretation KPKU Enterprises (SOEs Superior Performance Assessment Criteria), which is a program of the ministry of state in order to build superior kenerja which is a key demand for a company's financial performance and the achievement of non- best financially at national and regional levels before becoming a world class company.

The training was attended by all the Manager and Assistant Manager and the Board of Directors and Commissioners of PT. Medan Industrial Area (Limited) with speakers from Tim KPKU Jakarta. The training was conducted from 18 s / d February 20, 2013 starting at 08:00 ending at 17:00 pm.

With this training, it is expected that PT. KIM (Limited) to develop and implement a management and control system based Corporate Performance Excellence Criteria adopted and adapted from the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. Malcolm Baldrige Criteria has 11 core values and concepts (core values and concepts). Eleventh initi values and concepts that underlie KPKU state is as follows:

So therefore in line with expectations when the state ministry PT. KIM (Limited) uses KPKU SOEs as measure the performance of SOEs, soon to determine where to position the performance of PT. KIM (Limited) compared to other state. Similarly when KPKU used as a guide in the management of the company is expected PT. KIM (Limited) can grow into a company that has added value and strong competitiveness both regionally and globally
