PT Kawasan Industri Medan Holds Occupational Health & Safety (K3) Socialization, K3 Equipment Simulation, and Handover of K3 Equipment on Monday (14/10/2024)
In order to increase awareness of the importance of occupational health and safety, PT Kawasan Industri Medan collaborated with students from the Faculty of Public Health at UINSU Medan to hold an Occupational Health & Safety (K3) Socialization activity which was held on Monday, October 14 2024, at the WWTP 1 location.
This activity was attended by Structural officials of the Regional Services Division, Mr. Taufik Akbar as Head of Division & Heads of Departments in the Regional Services Division as well as all employees in the Clean Water, Waste Water, Waste Management and Regional Waste Monitoring units. This occasion also included socialization activities about the basics of leadership for all members of the Regional Services Division.
In this activity, participants received training on how to use K3 equipment appropriately and efficiently so that it can be applied in emergency situations in the field. The delivery of K3 equipment is also a concrete manifestation of the company's support for implementing safe and responsible work practices.
Through this outreach, it is hoped that it can strengthen awareness of the importance of occupational health and safety, as well as create a safer and more productive work environment for all employees.
