PT Kawasan Industri Medan held its 35th anniversary celebration on Tuesday (September 10). The event featured a series of activities, starting with welcoming speeches by Mr. H. Aulia Rachman SE (Deputy Mayor of Medan), Mr. Daly Mulyana (President Director), and Mr. Nurdin Lubis (Chief Commissioner). The event also included the launch of the Innovation Month, as well as the presentation of awards, recognitions, and competition prizes.
This year, PT KIM embraced the tagline "STRONG, INNOVATIVE & SERVICE-ORIENTED." The word "STRONG" signifies KIM's resilience and ability to compete, particularly in facing the Digital Transformation of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. "INNOVATIVE" reflects the use of existing technology to enhance performance and quality. Each year, KIM strives to be SERVICE-ORIENTED by providing the best services to tenants and investors within the industrial area. This is achieved through continuous infrastructure improvements, involving advanced technology, such as road construction and repairs, enhancing the quality and capacity of wastewater treatment, providing clean water supply, implementing fiber optic cable networks, and introducing a Tenancy Management System (TMS) application as well as digitalizing operations and cashless transactions.
The achievements to date are largely due to the support of shareholders, investors, business partners, and other stakeholders, along with the hard work of the entire KIM workforce. Looking ahead, we are committed to addressing issues related to flooding and security within the area. With a spirit of collaboration among all parties, we are confident these challenges can be overcome, leading to a more prosperous industrial zone in the coming year.
