Operational Prime Kuala Namu Airport, Dahlan: First Plane On Time

Jakarta - Operational inaugural Kuala Namu Airport Internatiomal (KNIA) went smoothly without any fuss, Thursday (25/7) morning. The first aircraft flew on schedule.

"I expect a lot of aircraft will initially delayed, passengers do not know how to check in but it did not. Aircraft on time first, second and third aircraft on time," State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan said on KNIA.

The first aircraft to depart is Garuda Indonesia GA 181 Jakarta purposes. The Boeing 737-800 took off at around 5:15 pm.

"Everything was smooth, I wish it would leave early because there is nothing to worry about. Angkasa Pura II the Great anticipation," he added.
