Jakarta - Currently a number of industrial estates in Indonesia are managed by private parties . Indonesia become the only country in the world where the government does not manage industrial area .

" In Indonesia is probably the only country that is not government-established industrial area . Japan was built by the government because the region is considered industrial infrastructure , " said Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry Ansari Bukhari at a media briefing Industry Act , at the Ministry of Industry , Jl Gatot Subroto , Jakarta , Monday ( 30/12/2013 ) .

In a new Industry Act , stated the government can establish and manage industrial estates , especially outside Java .

" Going forward , that the government can also establish an industrial area so no longer fully handed over to the private sector . Outside Java , the government must establish an industrial area , " he said .

However , the rules for the government still is not mandatory or optional . Ansari said the construction of industrial estates by the government include the infrastructure depends on the budget available .

" It depends on the government's ability and availability of the state budget , " he said .

Are also highlighted in this new Industry Act is the sanctions against abuse of the rules regarding mandatory SNI . In Article 120 states that any person who knowingly manufactures , import and or distribute goods or services that do not meet the ISO industry , technical specifications and procedures or guidelines shall be administered in the industry shall be sentenced to 5 years and the maximum fine USD 3 billion .

Industry in the new law , there are 125 chapters and is divided into 5 chapter discussion of the industry .
