Need Regulation Industrial Estate Seen

Bisnis.com , JAKARTA - Entrepreneurs urged the government to review the various regulatory development is considered counter-productive industries related limitations industrial land area .
Chairman of the Industrial Park ( IP ) Sanny Iskandar said in an effort to boost industrialization and to encourage the growth of the national economy , the government requires the development of new industrial areas .

"We have a lot of entrepreneurs who will invest in the industry , both from outside and within the country , but they are still having trouble finding the availability of industrial land for the minimal or limited , " he told Bisnis.com Sunday ( 06/10/2013 ) .

Sanny said Minister of Agrarian Regulation No. 2 of 1999 which limits the extent of the industrial area to 400 hectares for only one province , considered to be in accordance with Government Regulation No.24/2009 on Industrial Zone which do not require the maximum limit of the industrial park area .

For the development of an industrial estate in accordance with the technical guidelines as required by the Ministry of Industry requires large investments because they have equipped with infrastructure and utilities industry complete with adequate capacity .

" However , with the limited extent of the economic scale , the development of the industrial park will not be feasible or selling price of industrial land will be more expensive , " he said .

Besides, he added , certain industries require large area , such as an automotive industry requires an area of ​​100 hectares to 150 hectares .

As another attempt , according to Sanny , local governments also need to define and validate spatial planning ( spatial planning) were allocated for the development of Industrial Area designation .
