JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) provide 119 direct referrals to the principal director of the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs). This was done so that SOEs can play a role in national development in the next five years.
"Today afternoon 119 met the president of SOE, because I will give an overview next five years looks like. So that all could be as soon as possible as quickly as can be done by SOE us," said Jokowi at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday (18/05/2015) ,
With passion, Jokowi mention state-owned assets in Indonesia is huge reached Rp4.500 trillion. This was supposed to SOE can become agents of development and drive the economy.
"SOE assets we Rp4.500 trillion, this figure is very big," he said.
Meanwhile, SOEs Minister Rini Soemarno said at the meeting attended by 119 chief executive SOEs are owned directly by the government. However, it does not include a subsidiary of the state-owned enterprises.
"The baseball is not directly present here, are spotted SOEs directly baseball in the sense of subsidiaries of SOEs reached 700 companies," he said.
