Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Coordinating Minister (Menko) for the Economy Nasution said the government issued a policy package is aimed at advancing the industrial sector. In fact, the government has formed an industrial area to facilitate the development of the industry.
"If you look at the actual regulatory package aimed at supporting the industry and exports. Even there here we are designing an industrial area with a friendly facility," Nasution said at Bidakara, South Jakarta, Tuesday (16/02/2016).
He added that the government also formed an industrial area so that industrial development can be directed by the government. In addition, the government also hopes the development in the industrial sector small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
"Why focus on this, it is better for us to design a limited basis because it is easily directed. We can fix index (business) that actually involve SMEs not only small but also medium. So we are the central government and local governments to make it easier," he explained.
Further, according to Nasution, the government eventually expect the industrial sector to drive economic growth in Indonesia. Moreover, the Ministry of Industry was held a working meeting (raker) for the building industry.
"We expect the industry to grow. We hope that through this meeting produce scenarios and steps to restore the industrial sector as a driving force," he concluded.
