Jakarta - The Ministry of Industry (Ministry of Industry) propose any trade policy, industrial and energy together in one ministry. Governments can mimic the Japanese government is METI (Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry).
Director General of the Ministry of Industry Manufacturing Industry Base Panggah Susanto said, to achieve energy security, the real issue is focused in a single ministry, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
"Energy matters of life and death issue, we build the industry is not possible without energy, no wonder too that in Japan. Energy industry ministry placed the container," said Panggah in Open Access Seminar for Sustainability and Competitiveness National Industrial Products in the Ministry of Home Affairs Industry, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/03/2013).
Panggah mentioned, it is deemed necessary considering energy security is one of the motor of the economy of the nation. "If you want to be strong we must have unity, if this is put together then there will be an economic power," he said.
Furthermore Panggah mention, first, Indonesia has ever had a special container with a capacity in this regard. Where the issue of trade and the mining industry is in an institution called Perdatam.
