Government Encourages Private Build Power Plant and Sell

Jakarta - Indonesia's demand for electricity is growing at a rate of approximately 8 % per year . It is difficult to rely on PT PLN to meet these needs , so need help from the private sector .

" Seeing the condition of the state budget , we can only add a new connection by 5 % . Fact that yesterday's 7 % are still lacking . To encourage additional electrical capacity nationwide , up CT , the government will make a breakthrough by allowing private parties to build their own plants and sell electricity .
