Get ready, Starting 18 April 2013 Toll Rates Go Up

Jakarta - Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Ministry of Public Works (MPW) said, this year there will be a rate increase as much as 18 toll roads in Indonesia. 18 toll rate increase was done in stages according to a biennial schedule

This was revealed by Chief BPJT Ahmad Ghani Ghazali to detikFinance at the Ministry of Public Works, Jalan Raden Fatah, South Jakarta, Friday (03/15/2013).

"There are 18 sections to be up this year," said Ghani.

He said that under the rules, and road worthiness inspection or Minimum Service Standards (MSS), toll road operator has the right to adjust rates. According to him, the increase in rates to the 18 toll roads are not done simultaneously.

"Macem-macem, that April was, that November. Macem macem-lah," he said.

The amount of the increase would be bervariarsi. Depending on the amount of inflation in the cities they operate toll roads. "Later yes accordance inflation gains," he said.

The sections of toll tariffs will go up in order of month antaralain:

Adjustment of toll rates during this refers to Article 48 of the Act (the Act) 38 of 2004 on the Road, and Government Regulation (PP) 15 Year 2005 on the highway, in particular article 68 which regulates the evaluation and adjustment of toll rates is carried out every 2 years and adjusted for inflation.

But the toll operators have passed the evaluation of minimum service standards (SPM) by the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Ministry of Public Works (PU).
