Jakarta , ( Analysis ) . The government finally launched a program ' mass insurance ' for the Indonesian people in the National Social Security System ( Social Security ) through the Social Security Agency ( BPJS ) .
BPJS was inaugurated BPJS BPJS health and employment .
BPJS health is a transformation of PT Askes while BPJS labor is the transformation of PT Jamostek .

What it BPJS ?
BPJS is an institution established to organize social security programs in Indonesia . All Indonesian citizens and foreigners who have lived in Indonesia for a minimum of six months shall be a member BPJS . Thus embodied in article 14 of Law BPJS .
Each company must register as a member BPJS workers . While the person or family who do not work at the company must register themselves and their family members on BPJS . Each participant will be drawn BPJS dues , whereas for the poor , BPJS dues paid by the government through Fee Assistance program ( PBI ) .
Being a participant BPJS not only mandatory for workers in the formal sector , but also informal workers . Informal workers are also required to be a member of Health BPJS . The workers must register with and pay dues in accordance with the desired level of benefits .
Universal health insurance is expected to be phased in by 2014 and by 2019 , all citizens of Indonesia are expected to already have the health insurance .
Terms dues civil servants and military / police amounted to 5 percent of salary per family per month . For private formal workers , 4.5 percent of the two non-taxable income . Contribution of non-formal sector of Rp 59,500 per person per month for 1 class hospitalizations , 42,500 USD in class 2 , and class 3 Rp 25,500 . Contributions are paid by the government of the poor Rp 19 225 per person per month to 86.4 million poor people .
Registration for the entire community will take place from January 1, 2014 and is expected to finish at the last deadline in 2019.
