BKPM call is still no local government reject the construction of industrial zones

Merdeka.com - Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) saw no local government is still resisting the construction of industrial zones. It's rated at odds with the central government's efforts to boost investment in the country.

"So we see the seriousness of the regional government, the provincial and district-Town, because until now it is still a proposal from the governor, but not supported regent, and vice versa," said Deputy Investment Planning BKPM Tamba Hutapea, in his office on Tuesday ( 3/5).

In addition to the ease of opening a business, according to Tamba, coordination between central and local governments is essential to realize the investment target.

He added that the investor can directly build the project after getting a license from BKPM and local governments.

"Handling permits implementation of such a building permit (IMB), Environmental Permit (UKL / UPL and EIA) and permitting the implementation of other regions are performed in parallel while the process of building and later of licenses shall be held prior to commercial production projects.
