Jakarta - Minister of State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Dahlan Iskan today scheduled to receive an honorary degree from Universiti Malaysia Perlis. Dahlan will earn the title Professor.
Reportedly this ceremony will be attended by the Managing Director and Chairman of SOEs.
"But just commute (commissioner) and president (chief executive) course," said Head of Public Relations of the Ministry of Enterprise Faisal Halimi to detikFinance, Friday (13/09/2013).
The ceremony will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Central Jakarta at 10.00 WIB. This event should have been scheduled for 19:00 pm Thursday, but was postponed due to the cabinet meeting.
Previously, on July 8, 2013 the Minister of SOEs also received an honorary degree Doctor Honoris Causa (HC) of the Institute of Religious Affairs Islan (IAIN) Walisongo Semarang.
As is known, Dahlan who was born on August 17, 1951 This Magetan been studying in boarding school Sabilil Muttaqien, Takeran Magetan. Dahlan also had taken a college in the Faculty of Tarbiyah IAIN Sinan Ampel Samarinda branch but stopped until four semesters.
Dahlan spent more of his career as a journalist to be a successful media owner Jawa Pos.
